Hi, I’m Steffi.

Pronouns: (she/her/hers)

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) and owner of Career Therapy with Steffi.
I’ve been helping people navigate their career path and mental health for over 8 years, including work experience as a career counselor at two major universities: The Ohio State University and San Francisco State University.
I have lived experience that allows me to emphathize with my clients - I had been unknowingly masking neurodivergent traits for the majority of my life in order to please others and blend in, which involved tuning out much of my inner felt experience to get by. Working towards embodiment and trusting myself is challenging and is an ongoing process!
I’m a life-long learner and I approach my work with joy, dedication, and ease because it is value-aligned for me.
For fun, I love playing with my dog, a pitbull mix named Wilbur, indoor rock climbing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Some of my special interests include books, thrifting vintage clothing/home goods, fragrance, gardening, and neurodiversity.

My Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process, grounded in non-judgmental, authentic exploration of clients’ lives. I believe that my role is to offer guidance, reflection, and support to empower your innate ability to heal and grow.

I draw from a variety of trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, somatic, and interpersonal theories with an existential and multicultural/feminist lens.
