Career Therapy Intensive

Are you ready for a career pivot and wish you got started yesterday?

The Accelerated Career Therapy Intensive is for you! This extended length 1:1 virtual therapy format will allow us to tackle the first steps towards a more fulfilling career in the span of one day, rather than the weeks it could take in a more traditional weekly therapy model.

How does it work?

Below is a breakdown of what the Career Therapy Intensive involves:

Please note that this is just a sample of what the intensive session might look like. What we actually work on will be tailored to your unique goals and needs.

  • We'll start by discussing your goals for therapy to make sure the Accelerated Career Therapy Intensive is a good fit for you, as well as provide a bit of structure for what the session will look like.

  • You will receive introduction materials in advance, as well as instructions for taking an online career assessment (included in price) to be completed prior to the Intensive.

  • In the first half of the session we might:

    • Review results from your career assessment

    • Identify your values, strengths, and interest areas

    • Develop a personalized plan for your career pivot

    Optional break : This can be a long, intense day of reflection and growth, so there will be an option for a short break. I highly recommend tuning in to your needs, so you are welcome to a break at any point in the session!

    In the second half of the session, depending on your unique needs, we may focus on:

    • Applying the self-exploration work to your career pivot

    • Exploring career options

    • Decision-making

    • Job searching strategy

    • Job application material reviews

  • You’ll be provided with a workbook that includes activities for further self-reflection and a written action-oriented plan for next steps to take towards your career pivot!

Both options include the following:

  • Consultation call

  • Online career assessment (available assessments include MBTI or Strong Interest Inventory), report, and interpretation

  • 2.5 hour individual therapy session

  • An original Career Exploration Workbook packed with additional activities for self-reflection and resources for further career growth
